ART 307: Ceramics III.
4 hours (2, lecture; 2, lab), 3 credits (maximum 12 credits). Comparative analysis of utilitarian and non-functional wheel-thrown objects. Contemporary theorization about the nature, motivations for, and uses of ceramic creation. Development of design and technical skills to produce complex objects; series and production techniques; documentation of various clay and glaze tests. PREREQ: ART 207.
