The staff of the Division of Student Affairs and the Office of Community Engagement and New Student Programs would like to congratulate our newly admitted students. We are pleased that you have chosen to become a part of the Lehman community, and look forward to supporting you in your transition and college career.

Lehman faculty and staff are focused on assisting you, as an incoming student, in your transition and want to provide you with the best possible foundation for your college experience. To this end, we have designed an engaging orientation program with you in mind.

Orientation is geared toward creating several opportunities throughout the day, allowing participants to obtain answers to questions, and to get specific issues addressed. The registration process for first-year students (freshmen) will begin on the first day of Orientation and continue on day two. Transfer Orientation is a one-day program.

Key representatives from Admissions, Testing, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, and other Lehman administrators, faculty, staff, and students will be available throughout the program for your specific questions or concerns. Because we know that participation in orientation can make a significant difference in your experiences as a Lehman student, all new students are expected to attend.

During Orientation and Registration we will address:

Academic advising essentials to prepare you for registration on day two
How to resolve immunization requirements
Financial aid issues
Campus life at Lehman
Strategies to get you off to a good start
