Meet the Staff
Amanda Dubois, Director
Amanda Dubois is the Director of the Office of Community Engagement & New Student Programs. She has a B.A. from Bridgewater State College in her home state of Massachusetts and an M.A. in higher education administration from New York University, where she previously worked as a community development educator in residential education. She is a researcher and educator in the area of the sophomore experience and has over ten years of experience in higher education programs.
Dubois has served as an intern with the National Orientation Directors Association and worked on orientation and welcome programs at four different colleges and universities over the past decade. She recognizes the need for a strong orientation program to shape students' experience and to aid in the retention of the second-year population. Dubois's motto is "Inspire, Higher"— if you get excited or passionate about something and exhibit that to others, often you will inspire someone else to do the same.
Amy Olsen, Associate Director, CUNY Service Corps Manager
Amy Olsen is the CUNY Service Corps Manager for Lehman College. She has a M.A. in Higher Education
Administration from New York University, where she previously worked
as an Assistant Community Development Educator in the department of Residential Education. Amy also served as a Hall Director at Cornell University and the School of Visual Arts.
Denny Santos, Assistant Director
Denny earned his BA in Sociology from Purchase College in 2004 and earned M. Ed in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University in 2006. Denny worked in Residence Life for the past 10 years working for several institutions in the Tri-state area.
Denny is a Manhattan native and a die-hard Mets fan.
Jenny Landsman, Assistant Director of Operations
Jenny Landsman is the Assistant Director of Operations. With over 5 years of experience working with students in the non-profit sector and higher education, she enjoys learning about students' diverse experiences and helping them reach their academic and professional goals. She first joined Lehman College as an Office Administrator after working as an Admissions Administrator for the SUNY Bronx Educational Opportunity Center. She has a BBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Lehman College and is currently pursuing an MS in I/O Psychology at Baruch College.
Fatou Diaw, CUNY CAP/Graduate Assistant
Fatou Fifi Diaw is originally from Senegal. She arrived in the United States in 2008 with no English . She got her High School diploma from Manhattan Comprehensive Night And Day High School, graduated from Lehman College in 2015 with a Bachelor in Political Science and a Minor in African-American studies. She was one of the first graduates of the CUNY Service Corps Program and served as Student Services Officer in the Lehman College Student Government Association. Fatou has a degree in Human Rights from Universidad Bolivariana in Chile and is now pursuing a Master degree in Public Administration at Baruch College concentrating in Public Management. Fatou is the CUNY CAP Graduate Assistant for the Office of Community Engagement and New Students Programs and the Lehman L.I.F.E. Coordinator. She is very committed to public service and has spent half of her career on volunteering and giving back. She is very dedicated to making a difference in her community and around the world. Fatou’s motto is “Lead, Inspire and Serve”.
Natalie is a junior who is majoring in Biology. Her career goal is to become a physician. Natalie is open-minded to the many pathways that medicine offers and as such her specialty of interest are undecided. She is really excited to continue to work in the Office of Community Engagement and New Student Programs because of the community awareness and involvement that it fosters. As the senior peer working in the office, Natalie hopes to continue to discover her true potential and to be as helpful as she can to the new peers.

Bintou is pursuing a degree in Biochemistry with a minor in French. Bintou is an aspiring community activist and she is currently the leading public relations officer at the Non-Profit West African Youth Organization: Sabi Youth. Bintou is hopeful that the Office of Community Engagement will spark a flame in the new generation that will give great motivation for students to give back to their communities. Bintou is humbled by the opportunity to work alongside her peers at the Office of Community Engagement and New Student Programs.

Alimata is currently a junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology. She's an outgoing student who doesn't mind going the extra mile in assisting those within her community. Alimata has volunteered yearly with some citywide events such as the Aids Walk and the Breast Cancer Walk. In hopes of giving back to her community, Alimata can't wait to become a part of the Lehman's Community Engagement family. She's also a die-hard Knicks fan and hopes one day they too can become NBA champions.
