The
Government Documents collection at Lehman is comprised of federal, state,
and local publications. The majority of our documents collection can
be accessed by searching in CUNY+
and is classed and shelved along with the rest of the library's collection.
Below is a short
listing of print and microfiche resources available in various areas
of the library.
First floor
reference area
- Ready
Reference -- Many important and heavily used documents, such
as the Statistical Abstract of the United States, Occupational Outlook
Handbook, etc. are located in our Ready Reference collection, located
behind the reference desk.
- Documents
Reference
-- Located on the southeast side of the first floor, the Documents
Referece section contains many historical reference works, as well
as the Catalog of Government Publications, the Code of Federal Regulations,
and the Congressional Record Indices.
- Microfiche
Cabinets
-- Our microfiche collection is located behind the Documents Reference
section. Will soon be moved to documents room near technical
services area.
Periodicals
collection
- Our government
serials are shelved in alphabetical order along with our
other serials in the Periodicals room on the basement level of the
library. Science related periodicals will be found in the Science
Periodicals collection on the south side of the library's third floor.
