Botanical Garden

Objective:

Students describe a major attraction in the Bronx. They locate the attraction on a map, identify how to travel to get there, and identify the types of jobs that people might have there or businesses that it might support.

Questions to Explore:

What is the New York Botanical Gardens?  Where is it?  How do you get there?  Where do the plants come from? How is the Conservatory designed for the plants?  What special activities happen at the Garden? Who works at the New York Botanical Garden?
