Smart Catalog
Smart Catalog is the database that stores the Undergraduate and Graduate Bulletin files. These files are made available for review to Lehman administration, deans, and chairs after each Chancellor’s Report has been processed in the database. An e-mail is sent to all concerned parties when it’s time to review the files.
To be included in the review process, you must have permission from your chair or director. Once you have permission, contact Julissa Alvarez in the Provost's Office (718-960-8426/ julissa.alvarez@lehman.cuny.edu). She will assist you in making an appointment to have the Smart Catalog software installed on your computer, and she will provide you with your username and password.
Once the review period is over, the Office of Media Relations will edit and ready the files for publishing. This includes direct editing of the administrative and faculty listing at the end of each Bulletin.
The online versions of both the Undergraduate and Graduate Bulletins are updated following the approval of each Chancellor's Report, which takes place several times a year. Administrators may enter changes at any time in their particular section, e.g., Admissions, Financial Aid, or Tuition & Fees. The changes will appear online when the next updated version is published.
Every two years, a version of the online catalog is "frozen," on or about July 1, as a PDF. This PDF is archived on the web to help document the history of the College's regulations and curricula and as a reference for students who leave the College and re-enter at a later point.
