t didn't matter whether they ran or walked the distance - Lehman students, faculty, staff and friends all had a good time November 17th as they jogged or strolled around the Jerome Park Reservoir in a benefit to raise funds for the College Library.

Lehman's first Library Benefit Run/Walk drew close to 50 participants. All in high spirits, they enjoyed glorious autumn weather and were rewarded with some healthy exercise and pleasant company, not to mention free tee-shirts. Top individual and team finishers were also presented with medals, and a few lucky winners went home with their Thanksgiving dinners, thanks to a turkey raffle.

The event was organized by CASA and the Provost's Office and raised over $700. The Library will use the funds to buy additional books for its collection.
