Leading 38-34 at halftime, Lehman senior guard Jonathan Rojas hit a short jumper to give the Lightning a 40-34 advantage. But Lycoming went on a 12-1 run to grab a 46-41 advantage as Jonathan Pribble scored the last nine points for the Warriors during the spurt. The Warriors took their first lead of the second half at 44-41 after Pribble hit a three-pointer at the 14:53 mark. After another Pribble jumper, Lehman junior guard Andre Bagot drilled a three-point goal from the top of the arc to bring the Lightning withinn 46-44 with 11:21 left. Lightning senior forward Marc Domin then evened the game with a jumper at the 10:40 mark. But Pribble answered with another trifecta at the 9:45 mark to give Lycoming a 49-46 advantage. Jeremiah Edison then scored on a putback, and Matt Stackhouse followed with a basket inside to give the Warriors a 53-46 edge with 8:20 left. Kyle Lockett hit a thee-point goal with 7:15 remaining to bring the Lightning within 53-49. But the Warriors pushed the lead to 58-51 with 5:05 left with a 5-2 spurt. Junior Miguel Jorge scored six straight points to bring Lehman within 65-59 with 2:50 left, but the Lightning were unable to get any closer. A three-point goal by Lockett with thirty-seven seconds left made the score 72-68. Lehman reserve guard Cyril Belfar missed a three-point attempt that would have cut the lead to just a point with twenty-four seconds left, and Lycoming held on for the victory. Lehman fell behind 7-2 early in the opening half, but the Lightning went on a 9-3 run to grab their first lead of the game on a three-point goal by Lockett. The Lightning then received consecutive three-point goals by Belfor, and Lehman was able to establish a 17-10 advantage with 11:25 left. A three-point play by Rojas gave Lehman a 27-17 lead with 7:55 to go. Lycoming cut the deficit to just four points, 30-26, but the Lightning answered with six straight points to push the lead back to ten. The Warriors scored the last six points of the stanza to close within 38-34 at halftime. Belfar finished with 12 points in the opening half to lead Lehman. \Pribble led Lycoming with 32 points (9-for-17 field goals, 6-for-11 three-pointers), and Jorge led Lehman with 16. Domin (nine rebounds) and Belfor each added 12 for the Lightning, who shot thirty-seven percent from the floor.
Now the Lightning will head for its first NCAA berth ever, with the opening
round of the NCAA Division III tournament scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m.

The Lycoming Warriors, with a 20-7 season, earned an automatic berth in the NCAA tournament as champions of the Freedom Conference. Lycoming is led by forward Jonathan Pribble, who leads the team with 19.4 ppg. This will be Lycoming's second appearance in the national tournament in three seasons. In 2002, it defeated Gettysburg College in the opening round before falling to Randolph-Macon College in the second round. Lehman, with a 22-6 season, earned an automatic berth by winning the CUNY Athletic Conference.
