Sory Rodriguez Wins Poster Contest
Sory Rodriguez
The Student Health Center sponsored a World Aids Day poster contest in December. Six contestants competed for three prizes of $100, 75 and $50 for first, second and third place. Applicants were asked to submit a manually rendered regulation-sized poster with a depiction of their choice related to HIV/AIDS/World AIDS Day.
Lehman students viewed the posters in the window of the bookstore and online and were asked to vote via email to the Health Center. Over 215 students voted and Sory Rodriguez, a junior studying business, won the top prize of $100. Carmen Liriano came in second, and Tina Antonucci was third.
