2006 CUNY Voluntary Charitable Giving

The 2006 "Caring Means Sharing" CUNY Campaign for Voluntary Charitable Giving is well underway. For over 20 years, the drive has been raising funds from among CUNY faculty and staff to benefit those in need in the five boroughs and throughout the world. Last year's campaign, "Together, We Make It Better," raised $477,192, one-third of which went to agencies based at CUNY colleges.

Earlier this month, a brochure was distributed to all departmental and divisional offices containing information about the campaign and how Lehman faculty and staff can make a contribution. This year, over 1,000 agencies are participating in the drive, including the Lehman College Speech Clinic, the Performing Arts Center, the Child Care Center and the Lehman College Foundation. Designating a donation to these organizations will directly benefit Lehman students. Contributions can be made through payroll deduction or on a one-time basis.
