Winter Concert to Feature Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass
Featured in the program will be Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass. Directed by Lehman Professor Diana Mittler-Battipaglia and accompanied by the Lehman Symphony Orchestra, the 150-member chorus will also perform shorter works by Mendelssohn, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Dawson, and others. The program will include Sarasate's Gypsy Airs and the Thunder and Lightning Polka by Strauss.
Members of the chorus include Lehman students, alumni, faculty, staff, and a broad selection of residents from many communities in the Bronx and the greater New York area.
