Talks in the Gallery: 'Rediscovering Wisconsin's Opera Houses'

Brian Doyle
Professor Doyle's book, which will be published by the Wisconsin Historical Society Press, focuses on the restoration and renovation of Wisconsin's opera houses or vaudeville theatres, each of which appears in the National Registry of Historic Buildings. The talk will feature a Powerpoint slide presentation.
A native of Wisconsin, Professor Doyle specializes in teaching the art of the theatre. He recently directed a new adaptation of Molière's Tartuffe for the College's theatre program.
