Open House and Free Financial Aid Workshop Set for Nov. 12

Lehman College will hold its fall open house for prospective undergraduate and graduate students on Saturday, November 12, at 11 a.m. in the Music Building. High school students and their families are invited to attend and learn about the College's degree programs and financial aid opportunities, as well as take a guided tour of the campus.

Immediately following the open house, the Office of Financial Aid will hold a free financial aid workshop, at 2 p.m., also in the Music Building. The session will provide:

• an overview of federal, state and CUNY financial aid programs;
• tips on applying for financial aid;
• information on the various programs available for financing an education.

"Our annual Financial Aid Workshop is part of a continuing commitment by the College's financial aid staff to educate students and parents about this process," says Lehman's Financial Aid Director David Martinez. "It's our hope that the information provided will help ensure a successful financial aid application process."
