Free Concert Celebrates Autumn Oct. 23
"This is really a show for the whole family," says band director Alan Hollander of the Music Department. "The band will perform such popular songs as 'Autumn in New York' and 'Autumn Leaves,' as well as some gentle Sousa marches and Gianinni symphonies. There will also be time for audience participation in the form of sing-alongs."
The band, which is made up of faculty, students and community members, will perform works for concert band by Prévert, Reed, Gould, Dvorak, Williams and others.
