Lehman Psychology Professor Reappointed As Psi Chi VP for Eastern Region

Professor Vincent Prohaska
The re-election means that Professor Prohaska will serve on the National Council, which is essentially the board of directors for the honor society. He will also plan the Psi Chi program of workshops, panels and invited speakers at both the New England Psychological Association (NEPA) and the Eastern Psychological Association (EPA) conferences.
In 2001, Professor Prohaska, who is the advisor for the Psi Chi chapter at Lehman, won the society's Florence L. Denmark Award for his "outstanding contributions to Psi Chi and psychology." In that same year, the Lehman chapter of Psi Chi won the Ruth Hubbard Cousins Award, which recognizes student involvement in pursuing academic excellence.
