Lehman's Women's Basketball Team Named 'Most Improved' by NCAA

Lehman Women's Basketball Team
Members of the "Lady Lightning" basketball team can look back on the season with pride not only in their success on the court but also in the attention they have attracted nationally.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has named the team as the "Most Improved" in Division III women's basketball. The team ended the season with 18 wins (18-8 overall, 10-3 CUNY)a significant improvement from last season's 5-21 overall record.
Responding to the designation, Head Coach Eric Harrison said that "the turnaround in the program is a testament to the team's commitment to the game and to the coaching staff's determination to providing these young women with the necessary support to succeed."
