The program provides the undergraduate student with a comprehensive academic background to the economic, social, political, and cultural problems that this region faces today. Its successful completion prepares students to work effectively and knowledgeably in government, international organizations, private industry, journalism and communications, or to pursue graduate studies in the humanities, social sciences, or law. Program Requirements: Admission to the program is contingent upon successful completion of LAC 266 and 267 or BIL 266 and 267. A language requirement must be fulfilled by successful completion of SPA 202 or 204 or the equivalent.
