EDE 622: Advanced Methods in Teaching Reading in Elementary School.
3 hours, 3 credits. A study of strategies for teaching reading, including critical thinking and study skills and content area reading. Formal and informal measures for assessing pupil needs, organizational and classroom management techniques, instructional approaches, and materials for the reading experience will be examined. PREREQ: *EDE 630 and 621.
