SPE 723: The Nature, Diagnosis, and Treatment of Fluency Disorders.
3 hours, 3 credits. Assessment and intervention with toddlers, preschool-aged children, school-aged children, and adults with fluency disorders. Current theories and research related to the onset and development of fluency disorders across the lifespan. Case studies related to the connection between theory and practice. Emphasis is placed on multicultural and multilinguistic differences in assessment and intervention.
