*FCS 571: The Family and the Law.
3 hours, 3 credits. Examination of laws that directly affect the family: laws pertaining to marriage, adoption, estate planning, foster care, and family relations. Emphasis on the work of Federal, State, and local agencies; and legal requirements, proscriptions, etc., in the areas of consumer health protection, housing, and financial management.
