EDR 711: Instructional Approaches for Language and Literacy Development in Early Childhood Education.
3 hours, 3 credits. Instructional approaches appropriate for language and literacy development in early childhood education based upon current research. Examination, selection, design, and organization of linguistically and culturally relevant instructional practices, strategies, and materials for literacy development of infants, toddlers, and young children of varying developmental abilities. PREREQ or COREQ: EDR 701 or permission of the coordinator.
