EDL 703: Collaborative and Community-Based Leadership.
3 hours, 3 credits. Emphasis on collaborative strategies school-building leaders can use to build consensus with teachers, school counselors and other educational staff, parents, and the community. Focus on the role of the school leader in creating programs that benefit both the school and the community. Students will participate in 6 hours of leadership experiences in the field over the course of the semester. PREREQ: EDL 701 and EDL 702 and/or permission of the Program Coordinator.
