EDL 701: The Principal as a School Building Leader.
3 hours, 3 credits. Examination of concepts, practices, and empirical research related to urban school leadership across the P-12 continuum. Emphasis on basic administrative theories of change, structure, decision making, motivation, communication, and culture as applied to urban school improvement and leadership. Students will participate in 6 hours of leadership experiences in the field over the course of the semester.
