EDG 736: Parenting within Diverse Family Structures.

Examination of theories and techniques of parenting using a culturally diverse family life cycle model, including how to involve parents, guardians, and other family members in the educational and emotional lives of children and youth through parenting workshops, educational programs, and brief, short-term family counseling interventions in schools and community agencies. PREREQ: EDG 701, 703.
