Hi!
My name is Robyn Kirk. I live in South Africa, and I am ten-years-old (that's how old I was when I wrote my story in the year 2000!).
I have two sisters Orla and Dano. I LOVE cats, so of course I have one.
Her name is Angel. If you have cats, please tell them about me. I also
have a hamster named Spike, and believe me, I love both of these pets lots.
I am
different from you because I have something called Moebius Syndrome. When
I was born my face was not able to move at all, even when I cried. Since
that time, I've had some very long operations so that I can now smile,
as you can see. I hate it when people stare at me! So what if I look different.
I go to a normal school, just like you (weird, ha?)
I love
to read because everyone imagines what they're reading differently. That's
what makes it so exciting. My friends say I'm funny, and they don't tease
me at all (I think that's because there are no boys in my school). I like
to draw, and I think that I am a good artist. My sister Dano and I fall
out a lot, but I guess all sisters do that some of the time.
When
I grow up I want to be a writer. As you can tell, I really like to write,
since I wrote this story all by myself.
I'm
happy to be me, and I hope that you're happy to be you. This probably is
a very very very very short page but it took a long time to write.
Enjoy!
