What luck...I'm on Horse!

Place a fetus in a womb
In the first months of existence.
Make something happen.
So very wrong.
Development changes
Without any signs.

Take a little girl just born
They do not know why she can’t nurse.
They try and they try,
To no avail.
A visiting doctor comes and explains
“It’s Moebius Syndrome she’s got.”

Take an Austrian physician,
Paul Julius Moebius was his name,
Let him study people
with
Crossed eyes
Strange limbs
Strange speech
And other
“abnormalities.”
And you have
Moebius Syndrome

Take that little girl once again,
Give her parents and dolls
And books and
Horses and
Joy,
And you have
Me.
