As the sun sinks into the earth,
the moon rises high above.
It is night
and there is no sound at all, only silence.

The moon beams shine on the birdbath
and the water reflects onto the sky.
It looks as though the sky is a big ocean
with diamonds swimming in it.

The man in the moon smiles down at me,
and I smile back.

It didn't go to bed that night.

As I watched the black blanket of night surrender to the sun,
I knew that the sun, moon, earth, and sky
would guide me up to Heaven.
