The Adult Learning Center serves students who come from communities throughout the Bronx, mostly in nearby neighborhood such as Kingsbridge Heights, University Heights, and Fordham.

The Adult Learning Center serves students who come from communities throughout the Bronx, mostly in nearby neighborhood such as Kingsbridge Heights, University Heights, and Fordham. 

Classes in ESOL and Adavnced Reading and Writing encourage students to explore their individual writing style and participate in writing prorgrams like New York University-based Literacy Review and New York Symphony Space Selected Shorts: All Write. Over the years, a number of ALC students writing have been chosen to be included in their yearly publication.
