How to Obtain CUNYfirst Support

There are a variety of ways to obtain CUNYfirst assistance, either online, by phone, email or in person.  Here’s how:

Online Help

The easiest and fastest way to get help about CUNYfirst is online. The Lehman College CUNYfirst site ( contains help files, videos and FAQs created especially for the Lehman community. The FAQs will be updated regularly.

Visit to view step by step guides to everything from claiming your CUNYfirst account to paying your bill. Students can click on the Student Self-Service link on the navigation bar. Faculty and faculty advisors can click on the Faculty/Advisor Self-Service link.

When logged into CUNYfirst, you will also have access to the firstSolutions Knowledge Base through a link on your CUNYfirst home page. This tool has a wealth of information about CUNYfirst.

Assistance by Telephone

If the online help does not answer your question or you need someone to guide you through a solution, you can call the Information Technology Help Desk at 718-960-1111. Calls received after normal business hours will be directed to voice mail.

Assistance by Email

Send email to  Make sure to include your contact information, your CUNYfirst username and emplid if available, and a clear, detailed description of the problem you’re having. If you are able to include a screenshot that shows the problem with your description, that’s even better.

Keep in mind that the Help Desk may not be able to respond to your email right away, especially during off hours.

In Person Assistance/Walk-in Support:

The CUNYfirst Support Center has closed and will reopen for the winter and spring registration periods. Students, staff and faculty in need of assistance are encouraged to take advantage of the online resources available on this website. You may also visit the IT Center Help Desk (Carman 108) where you will be directed to staff who can assist.
