Lehman College: College Now Summer Arts Academy 2011
My name is Americo Galindez III, and I am an aspiring rapper/screenwriter. I have always liked to believe that I have an artistic vision, especially when it came to films and songs. I was raised by two parents that grew up in the musical era of the 80's . Hip Hop, Freestyle, Rock, and Soul were mostly played in my house during my youth. I also inherited my father's interest in movies because he made it mandatory for me to be well rounded when it came to movies, as opposed to others who prefer the most current movie. I would have to thank father especially for giving me a great educational foundation, because I did not take school serious at first because I saw it as a day care. My father then took his time from work, to tutor me with flash cards he made, and I learned how to read at a rapid pace. He would even assign book reports for me to complete during the summer break. Sports, education, and music have always been my main priorities, sometimes to the point that I feel stressed when I do not excel in all of them. This is because of my mothers strong will to accomplish goals and get the job done. In junior high school I wouldn't say that I was picked on, but I did get the cold shoulder from most girls. When I graduate, I made a promise to myself, almost like a dare, that I would share my personality with everyone and not hold back one bit, and its actually been successful. I'm a joker and can even be seen as immature, but I know right from wrong and I always stick up for those in need.
My name is… Brandice Bodie… I am 8 times 2 years old. I like pie. In my spare time I like to blog make Youtube videos, write, read books and manga. I also watch anime as well. I like to listen to music and play the bass guitar. I'm part zombie…;; don't tell anyone. I do not like clowns; mimes are cool. Balloons now scare me. Well, I'm going to go float now.
