File for NYS Initial Certification for students who are graduating May 31, 2012 and September 1, 2012
When: Friday, April 20, 2012 and Monday, May 14, 2012
Where: Carman Hall – B-55 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

These sessions are ONLY for undergraduate and graduate candidates who need to apply for New York State certification. If you have already created a TEACH account on the NYSED website and have applied for the certification, then there is no need to attend the certification session. If you have a TEACH account and need to apply for certification, bring your user name and password to the certification session. If you do not have a TEACH account, then you can create one by visiting the NYSED website at http://www.highered.nysed.gov/tcert. During the session we will assist you with the education profile and application process.

The Education Library now has the most recent editions of several LAST and ATS-W exam prep books in ebook format.  

These ebooks can be downloaded for 7 days and can be used on a PC (in the Library or off-campus) or on the Library's SONY eReaders.  The list of exam prep books is on the Lehman eLibrary website: http://lehman.lib.overdrive.com/ under eBook Nonfiction / Study Aids and Workbooks.  

Students should go to the Reference Desk in the Education Library on the 3rd floor for help in accessing these titles.
