Professor of Computer Science
I have been teaching at Lehman College and the CUNY Graduate Center
for 6 years, since 2003. My research specialty is Computer Networks
and I teach Computer Networks as often as I can. I have also
participated in the Writing Across the Curriculum program and have
adapted the Discrete Math, Computer Programming, and Introduction to
Networks to emphasize reading and writing skills (of the technical
variety.
I received a B.A. in mathematics from Harvard College in 1967 and a Ph.D. in information science from the University of Chicago in 1978.
I have two children and two grandchildren; my favorite music is ragtime; and my husband and I like to explore park areas in New Jersey on our morning walks.

Ziping Liu
Ph.D. Candidate at Baruch College
I am Ziping Liu and I am a graduate student in Biology at Graduate Center, CUNY. I finished my Bachelor degree in Molecular Biology in China. Before coming to the states, I worked as a research assistant for quite a few institutes.
During my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer and tennis with different types of opponents in the city.

Loes Olde Loohuis
Ph.D. candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center
I’m Loes Olde Loohuis (my first name is pronounced just like Luz in Spanish). Currently, I am a second year PhD student at the CUNY Graduate Center in the Computer Science department. I am from the Netherlands, where I did my undergraduate in Beta Gamma and a masters in Logic. I am interested in many branches of logic, formal reasoning and cognitive science.
Whenever I have the chance to escape the city, I love to go hiking, biking or skiing.

Fred Dieckamp
Master's program at Hunter College
I am Fred Dieckamp and I am currently working on a master's degree in education at Hunter College. Prior to this, I worked as a risk analyst at the world's largest depository and clearing corporation. I received my first master's degree in Cognitive and Neural Systems from the Center for Adaptive Systems at Boston University. I did my undergraduate work at Cornell where I double majored in math and chemistry.
I enjoy history, am a licensed New York City Tour Guide and ride a bike for fun.
