Christine Rota-Donahue: Faculty Spotlight continued ...
Christine has worked with a diverse population in a variety of settings including school-based programs, hospitals, out-patient clinics, and private practice. After more than 25 years in clinical practice in both Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, she is now teaching Hearing Science and Audiology and working on her dissertation in the Developmental Language Laboratory directed by Dr. Richard Schwartz. Her areas of research include event related potentials and pediatric Auditory Processing Disorders (APD). She received a 2010 Martin Gitterman Excellence in Teaching Award, the 2009 LISHA doctoral award and two CUNY grants in 2009-2010. Currently she is working on spectral processing in children with APD. Her article on spectral processing in typically developing children was published in 2010 by audiology online.
