Since 1996, Prof. Aquilino-Jirak has been an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Speech-Language–Hearing Sciences and a clinical supervisor in Lehman’s Speech and Hearing Center. A member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the Westchester Speech-Language-Hearing Association, she has worked as a speech therapist for the Harry Gordon School for Children with Disabilities, Developmental Connections for Children, and the New York City Department of Health’s Early Intervention Services Program.
For the past twenty-eight years, Prof. Aquilino-Jirak has also played clarinet with the Big Apple Corps Community Symphonic Band.
