Lehman College and Community Latin Jazz Ensemble

The Lehman College Latin Jazz Ensemble co-directed by Victor Rendón and Armando Rodríguez, was formed in the fall of 2003, performing Latin music of many different styles, arranged especially for this group by the directors and/ or members. This ensemble, consisting of students, alumni, faculty, and community members, gives two formal concerts during the school year, and also performs for college events such as the college's Holiday Party, and the post-Commencement celebration.

Rehearsals:
Tue, 4:30-7pm (beginning Tuesday, September 3, 2013)

Concerts:
Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 2:00pm. Bongo Bash Bonanza: an exciting performance of Latin American classics by Machito, Perez Prado, Tito Puente, Tito Rodriguez, and others.
Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 4:30pm. Salsa Brava Pa' Gozar: the music of Perez Prado, Augustin Lara, Eddie Palmieri, and others.
