Jazz Band
The Lehman Jazz Band, directed by Professor Armando Rodriguez, performs works ranging from “Big Band” to modern day jazz music, written by well-known composers and arrangers. Members of the ensemble also perform in small combos, which feature a more improvisational style. Each academic year, the Jazz Band gives four concerts and performs for several special events, such as the college’s holiday party and the Lehman College Jazz Festival.
