Adjuncts: Aynsley Vandenbroucke
Aynsley Vandenbroucke is a choreographer and artistic director of Aynsley Vandenbroucke Movement Group. She divides her time between NYC and the Catskill Mountains where she and her husband (photographer Mathew Pokoik) founded and direct Mount Tremper Arts, a center for contemporary performance and visual art. Her work has been performed in many wonderful New York City theaters as well as in Brazil and San Francisco. A Laban Movement Analyst, Aynsley served on the faculty of the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies for five years and now teaches dance perspectives and somatics at Lehman. She's teaching at Princeton University this spring. She has performed for Liz Sargent Installations and jill sigman/thinkdance. Aynsley graduated in 1999 from North Carolina School of the Arts where she studied on scholarship and was nominated for the Princess Grace Award.
