Mary McPartlan

Mary McPartlan, originally from Drumkeerin, County Leitrim, is the Academic Coordinator and Director of Arts in Action at the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Traditional music lovers around the world know Mary better as a marvelously talented singer with two much-praised recordings of traditional song, The Holland Handkerchief (2005) and Petticoat Loose (2008).
We will take advantage of her extended stay in New York City as a Fulbright scholar at CUNY to present her in concert at Glucksman Ireland House, where she will be joined by musical collaborators. Tickets are $15. Please contact the Glucksman Ireland House for further details.
